How Anaesthetics selection works
Anaesthetics (CT1) is selected on the MSRA and a two-station online interview. Every eligible applicant sits the MSRA: it ranks who is invited to interview — there is no cut-off score, so no one is rejected on it, and those not invited at first are held in reserve. Your final rank is MSRA 15% + interview 85%, so the interview is the decisive component.
Provisional — 2026/27 dates are based on last cycle's pattern. NHS England publishes confirmed dates around October 2026.

Ranking
The MSRA ranks who is invited to interview. There is no cut-off score — no one is rejected here; applicants not invited straight away are held in reserve and called as interview slots free up. This score also carries 15% into the final rank.
